READINESS PRINCIPLE
A launch is ready when inventory, commercial terms, permissions, submissions, ownership, and rollback have all been tested—not merely when the brochure is finished.
1. Establish the source of truth
- Assign a unique project and unit identifier.
- Confirm unit status, price, currency, size, type, floor, view, and availability.
- Name the owner responsible for approving inventory changes.
- Remove duplicate and expired inventory files from the launch workflow.
2. Validate commercial data
- Check payment-plan percentages, due dates, and milestones.
- Record booking, registration, service, and other disclosed charges.
- Confirm which values are fixed and which can vary by market or buyer.
- Document the approval route for price or incentive exceptions.
3. Prepare localized sales material
- Identify the language and currency required in each sales market.
- Match floor plans, brochures, location material, and disclaimers to the correct project version.
- Confirm which materials are public and which require broker access.
- Set an owner and review date for every published asset.
4. Configure broker access
- Define which brokerage organizations and agents can access the launch.
- Verify the broker information required by the operating market.
- Assign project, inventory, document, and commercial-term permissions.
- Prepare the invitation, support, and access-revocation process.
5. Define EOI and reservation controls
- List the buyer, broker, unit, deposit, and document fields required at submission.
- Define duplicate, unavailable-unit, and incomplete-document handling.
- Name the teams authorized to review, approve, reject, or release a unit.
- Record timestamps and status changes for the audit trail.
6. Configure commissions and targets
- Record the commission rule agreed with each brokerage.
- Define the events that create, mature, hold, clear, or cancel an entitlement.
- Keep transaction and commission currencies explicit.
- Set targets by project, market, team, brokerage, or broker where needed.
7. Run a controlled launch test
- Use a test broker account to inspect every visible field and document.
- Submit a test EOI and reservation through the complete approval route.
- Change a unit status and confirm every authorized view updates.
- Validate notifications, commission records, reports, and access boundaries.
8. Prepare launch-day ownership
- Name the inventory, broker support, reservation, commercial, and technical owners.
- Publish the escalation path and response expectations.
- Schedule the first inventory reconciliation and performance review.
- Preserve a rollback process for incorrect data or permissions.
